Born and raised in Toronto I’ve always been considered a people person. From jobs when I was a teenager knocking on doors and speaking with strangers, to most recently sitting in boardrooms with clients discussing their business goals. Communication and empathy is what I’m all about. This is what led me to pursue a career in UX/UI design where I can take my skills in empathy and problem solving and apply it to creating fulfilling experiences for users.
After working in account management (advertising) for almost 3 years I decided to explore UX design after being surrounded by amazing designers and being jealous of their roles. I enrolled in the full-time UX/UI program at BrainStation where I was able to gain a firm grasp of the fundamentals and process of design thinking, as well as the most prominent design tools used in the industry. What’s next for me is finding a role where I’m able to showcase not only what I’ve learned in school but the user centric thinking and avant-garde perspective I’ve applied throughout my life.
