Soundie Marketing Site
Soundie is a platform for emerging musicians to connect with one another and receive constructive feedback from industry experts. This marketing site is intended to promote the Soundie app to our chosen target audience as a part of my Capstone project while enrolled in BrainStation’s full-time UX/UI design program. If you haven’t already read the Soundie app case study, check it out here.
The responsive product site is intended to showcase a “dream” for the target audience. Emerging and novice musicians that are starting to take their craft more seriously have visions of themselves on a big stage performing. The reality is that in order to get there they need to continuously progress, in which authentic and constructive feedback can help.
The photography used showcases real scenarios with musicians performing rather than posing for a camera.
As part of a multi-platform challenge while in school, we were tasked to envision our product was available on another platform and design the appropriate screen.
Considering the user is aiming to take their craft to the professional level, they would be spending a lot of their time crafting music within some sort of studio setup. Introducing a desktop app on the product site felt perfect for the user as it would provide a way for them to record their music directly on Soundie and distribute it to their profile. This would be a unique desktop feature that would not exist on the mobile app.
